Tanzania - The Greatest migration
Tanzania is timeless and time-honored, offering some of the last and vast wilderness areas. The country is known for a few superlatives — the tallest mountain in Africa, the largest land mammal migration, and the biggest National Park in Africa. From Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak, to the expansive plains of the Serengeti, to the mighty Selous / Nyerere National Park, there is so much in between that Tanzania has to offer. The Serengeti is a must-see, home to the millions of wildebeest migrating annually to follow the green grass and give birth. Ruaha National Park offers a truly wild walking safari experience, the Ngorongoro Crate delivers breathtaking views, and the magnificent Lake Tanganyika meets the Mahale Mountains where travelers can go trekking to see chimpanzees. Culture and unique history run deep on the coastal island of Zanzibar, where gorgeous white beaches fringe the town where intricate architecture from the 1600’s recalls a bygone era. The more we explore Tanzania, the more we understand how much there is to see.
